Siân Hughes

Siân Hughes is a British author and bookseller from Cheshire, England. She gained recognition in 2009 with her poetry collection 'The Missing,' which won the Seamus Heaney Award. Hughes's debut novel, 'Perle' (translated to French as 'Pearl'), explores themes of loss and absence through a semi-autobiographical lens, capturing the emotional landscape of a child's experience with grief.
