Sidi Mohamed Cheiba

Sidi Mohamed Cheiba is the regional director of water and sanitation for the Laâzib region in Mauritania. He recently gained attention for discussing a significant water supply project aimed at increasing the daily water production in the city of Kiffa from 4,000 cubic meters to 13,000 cubic meters. This project, which is part of a broader initiative by the Mauritanian government to address water scarcity in rural areas, is expected to alleviate longstanding issues of drinking water shortages in Kiffa and benefit surrounding villages.
