Sié Elvis Ouattara

Sié Elvis Ouattara is the newly appointed president of the Tribunal de grande instance de Banfora, having been installed in his role on October 13, 2025. He was appointed to this position after the previous president, Sidaty Yoda, was incarcerated due to serious legal issues. Ouattara, a magistrate since 2015, previously served as a judge at the TGI of Dédougou and later at the TGI of Bobo-Dioulasso. He is also the president of the Tribunal administratif de Banfora and is expected to restore confidence in the judiciary after a period of turmoil.
