Sigurður Fannar Þórsson
Sigurður Fannar Þórsson has been in the news for confessing to the murder of his ten-year-old daughter, Kolfinna Eldey, near Krýsuvík last September. He appeared in court where he acknowledged his memory loss to some extent while simultaneously agreeing to a compensation claim from the child's mother. Sigurður is also facing charges related to drug possession, having been found with a substantial amount of narcotics, including cocaine and MDMA, on the same day Kolfinna's body was discovered.
