Silvana Murcarzel

Silvana Murcarzel is a prominent Bolivian politician and member of the opposition party Unidad Cívica Solidaridad (UCS). Recently, she has been in the news due to a violent incident at the Santa Cruz Municipal Council, where she and other opposition councilors were attacked by a mob reportedly organized by the mayor's supporters. Murcarzel condemned the actions as a deliberate attempt to prevent the opposition from carrying out their legislative duties and has spoken out against the alleged orchestrated harassment and intimidation tactics employed by the mayor, Jhonny Fernández.
