Silvia Kaarle

Silvia Kaarle, known as Queen Silvia of Sweden, is the wife of King Carl XVI Gustaf. Born in Germany, she became the first foreign-born queen of Sweden since the 16th century after her marriage in 1976. Queen Silvia is actively involved in various charitable organizations, focusing on issues such as children's rights and dementia care. During her recent visit to Finland, she participated in the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Hanasaari Cultural Center.
