Silvia Kouwenberg

Professor Silvia Kouwenberg is the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Education at the University of the West Indies, Mona. She has played a significant role in addressing literacy challenges in Jamaican primary schools, advocating for a linguistics-based approach to teaching English in Creole-speaking communities.
