Sim Kalas

Sim Kalas is a prominent Estonian politician who served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1995 to 1996, as Minister of Finance from 1999 to 2002, and as Prime Minister from 2002 to 2003. He also held a significant role as a European Commissioner from 2004 to 2014. As the father of Kaja Kalas, the current leader of the Estonian Reform Party, he has been influential in shaping Estonia's political landscape and its relationship with the European Union.
