Simeon Ramsay

Simeon Ramsay is a Portmore resident and teacher who pleaded guilty to two counts of manslaughter for the stabbing deaths of his parents, Cecil and Phyllis Ramsay, in February 2022. He has been diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, which his defense argued influenced his actions. Recently, he was sentenced to a total of seven years in prison, acknowledging the mental health challenges he faced at the time of the crime.
