Simon Agbo

Simon Agbo is an officer of the Nigeria Immigration Service who recently made headlines after being abducted by gunmen at his residence in Makurdi, Benue State. The incident occurred on a Sunday evening when armed kidnappers stormed his home, firing shots to intimidate those present. Agbo, who had been redeployed to the Benue State command earlier this year, is reported to be held for a ransom of N20 million. Following his abduction, local youths and vigilantes initiated a search for him, while suspicions arose regarding the involvement of a neighbor who had urged him to come home shortly before the kidnapping.
