Simon Asplund

Simon Asplund is a 19-year-old Swedish soldier currently completing his basic military training as an aircraft mechanic group leader at F21 in Luleå. With just a few months left until his discharge, he is one of nearly 8,500 conscripts training to be part of Sweden's military forces. As a member of the Swedish Armed Forces, he is preparing to potentially participate in operations abroad under NATO's collective defense obligations.
