Simon Gilchrist

Simon Gilchrist is a clock repairer and the leader of the recent restoration project for the historic clock at St Augustine's Church in East Hendred. With a passion for historical timepieces, he took pride in working on this 500-year-old mechanism, which is significant not only for its age but also for its unique operational features, including its reliance on church bells to mark the time.
