Simone Cesaro

Dr. Simone Cesaro is a pediatric oncologist and the director of the pediatric oncology department at the integrated university hospital in Verona, Italy. He played a pivotal role in the treatment and recovery of Osama, a young boy from Gaza who suffered from severe malnutrition and intestinal absorption issues due to the ongoing conflict in his homeland. Under his care, Osama made significant progress, gaining weight and improving his health after being admitted to the hospital.
