Sinijlawi

Sinijlawi is a Palestinian peace activist and chairman of the Jerusalem Development Fund, known for his critique of the Palestinian leadership under Mahmoud Abbas. He advocates for genuine democratic processes, emphasizing the need for elections as a crucial step towards change in Palestinian governance. Sinijlawi participated in developing a two-state solution plan alongside former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and former Palestinian Foreign Minister Nasser al-Kidwa. He argues that the current recognition of Palestine by several Western nations is largely symbolic and insufficient for achieving lasting peace.
