Sinkina Saaka

Sinkina Saaka is the District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District in the Savannah Region of Ghana. He was in the news following a violent land dispute in the Gbiniyiri community that resulted in five deaths and multiple injuries. Saaka reported that the conflict began when the local chief sold a parcel of land to a private developer, leading to community resistance and subsequent violence.
