Sir Arthur Vicars
Sir Arthur Vicars was the Ulster King of Arms and a prominent figure in early 20th-century Ireland, best known for his role in the infamous Irish crown jewels heist of 1907. Despite being entrusted with the security of the jewels, which were stolen from Dublin Castle, Vicars faced public scrutiny and professional ruin after their disappearance. In his will, he controversially named a suspect, Francis R Shackleton, indicating his belief in a deeper conspiracy surrounding the case.
