Sir Percy Fawcett

Sir Percy Fawcett was a distinguished British archaeologist and cartographer known for his expeditions in South America, particularly in Bolivia, where he was tasked by the Royal Geographical Society to survey the Amazonian borders. His explorations were marked by a fascination with the region's history and geography, but he famously fled from a haunted house in Bolivia, later undergoing an exorcism to rid it of supposed spirits.
