Sirikitiya Phra Borommarachininat Phra Boromrachachonnani Phanpi Luang, commonly known as Queen Sirikit, was the beloved Queen of Thailand and a significant figure in Thai cultural preservation and development. She was born on August 12, 1932, and has been engaged in numerous philanthropic activities focusing on rural development, women's rights, and education throughout her life. After her passing on October 24, 2023, the Thai government announced a year of mourning, during which the Fine Arts Department was tasked with overseeing the creation and ceremonial aspects of her royal funeral pyre.
