Sita Kunwar

Sita Kunwar is a prominent farmer and the chairperson of the Pragati Women Farmers' Group in the village of Dabaka, Nepal. Under her leadership, local women have successfully transitioned into commercial cucumber farming, generating significant income for their families. Last year, she reported selling over 500,000 NPR worth of cucumbers, and this year she anticipates further sales despite fluctuating market prices.
