Sixto IV della Rovere

Pope Sixtus IV, born Francesco della Rovere, was the Pope from 1471 to 1484 and is known for his significant contributions to art and architecture during the Renaissance. He commissioned the Sistine Chapel and is remembered for his efforts in promoting education and the arts, as well as his role in the political landscape of Italy during his papacy.
