Sjafruddin Prawiranegara

Sjafruddin Prawiranegara was an Indonesian politician and military leader, best known for his role during the Indonesian National Revolution. He served as the Minister of Prosperity and was appointed by President Sukarno to form the Emergency Government of the Republic of Indonesia (PDRI) in 1948, following the Dutch military aggression. His leadership during this tumultuous time was crucial in maintaining the sovereignty of Indonesia while its leaders were detained.
