Slavs and Tatars is an internationally recognized art collective founded in 2006, focusing on provocative social issues and creating new pathways for contemporary discourse. Their work blends pop culture, spiritual and esoteric traditions, oral histories, artistic merchandise, modern myths, and academic research, with exhibitions held in prestigious institutions worldwide such as MoMA in New York and Secession in Vienna. The collective also engages in various formats including exhibitions, publications, and lecture-performances, and has published over a dozen books.
