Sofia Gilberto is a young Brazilian singer and the granddaughter of legendary bossa nova musicians João Gilberto and Astrud Gilberto. At just 9 years old, she gained attention with the release of her debut album 'Garota bossa nova' last year, showcasing her talent for reinterpreting classic bossa nova songs. Her highly anticipated debut concert, originally scheduled for this Friday at Clube Manouche in Rio de Janeiro, was postponed due to medical reasons, as advised by her doctors to rest. The concert was set to feature renowned musician Roberto Menescal, who contributed to the arrangements and performance of the album's title track.
