Sofia Laskaratou

Sofia Laskaratou was the first female student at the Athens School of Fine Arts and is notably remembered for her tragic love story with the poet Periklis Giannopoulos, who took his own life in the waters of Eleusis due to his unfulfilled feelings for her.
