Sofia Mandouvalou

Sofia Mandouvalou is a Greek author and educator born in Athens. She holds degrees in psychology, educational technology, and directing. Known for her unique writing style that blends humor and absurdity, she has penned novels, short stories, plays, poetry, and scripts for educational films, actively contributing to the Educational Television from 1977 to 2010. Her notable accolades include the MEDEA Awards 2013 for the animated series 'A Letter, A Story', a Greek nomination for the Hans Christian Andersen Award in 2014, and the State Prize in 2019. Her latest book, 'O Agios, Gymnos', is set to be published in 2024.
