Sófia Masnitsénkó is the 17-year-old daughter of Lídía Masnitsénkó, who has experienced the devastating impact of the war in Ukraine firsthand. She sought refuge with her family during the Russian invasion, and despite the trauma of displacement, she represents the hope and resilience of her generation in Ukraine.
