Sofiye

Sofiye is an Uzbek asylum seeker who arrived in Sweden in 2008 and has since struggled with the threat of deportation after losing her right to work. Despite having established a life in Sweden, including learning the language and raising her children in the local school system, she now lives in limbo in an asylum return centre, facing immense stress and anxiety over her family's uncertain future.
