Sohna Jaw

Sohna Jaw is the coordinator of FLAG (Foundation for Legal Aid and Gender Equality), an organization established in 2006 dedicated to empowering and protecting the rights of women and children. Under her leadership, FLAG has focused on providing pro bono legal services to vulnerable populations, advocating for gender equality, and raising awareness of legal issues affecting women and children in The Gambia. Recently, she played a pivotal role in the initiative supported by the Clooney Foundation for Justice, which aims to improve access to justice through mobile legal aid clinics.
