Sokolj Beganaj

Sokolj Beganaj is the Head of the Department for the Advancement and Protection of the Rights of Roma and Egyptians in Montenegro's Ministry for Human and Minority Rights. He has been actively involved in improving the social conditions and legal status of the Roma and Egyptian communities in Montenegro, emphasizing the need for better education, employment opportunities, and legal documentation for these populations. Recently, he highlighted the significant progress made in integrating Roma children into the education system and the government's commitment to further improve their living conditions and reduce discrimination.
