Solomiya
Solomiya is a 2-year-old girl who was recently rescued from Russian-occupied territory, where she survived harrowing conditions. Her mother, Oksana, faced significant danger while trying to access medical care for her daughter, who was suffering from a high fever. In a desperate attempt to save Solomiya, Oksana carried her on foot across a pontoon bridge in the dark, evading the threats from occupying forces that had blocked their vehicle. Currently, Solomiya is safe and receiving the necessary support and rehabilitation after her traumatic experiences.
