Solomon Atongo

Rev. Fr. Solomon Atongo is a Catholic priest serving in the Jimba parish of the Catholic Diocese of Makurdi. He gained recent media attention after being attacked and shot by suspected armed herders while traveling along the Makurdi/Naka Road in Benue State. Following the incident, he was rescued by a security operative and taken to a hospital for treatment.
