Songül Aslan

Songül Aslan is the mother of Özgecan Aslan, who has been an outspoken advocate for justice and women's rights since her daughter's murder in 2015. On the 10th anniversary of Özgecan's death, she expressed her enduring pain and called for an end to violence against women.
