Sonia Marta Mora

Sonia Marta Mora served as the Minister of Education in Costa Rica from 2014 to 2018, where she focused on educational reforms and policies aimed at improving the quality of education in the country. Recently, she has been a vocal critic of the current administration's handling of education, particularly regarding the late introduction of a new strategic plan by the current Minister, Leonardo Sánchez Hernández, which she argues comes too late to effectively address the urgent issues facing the educational system.
