Soraia André César

Soraia André César is a trailblazing Brazilian judoka and psychologist, born in 1963. She became one of the first women to compete in judo during a time when the sport was restricted for females in Brazil. Soraia has dedicated her life to promoting judo and empowering young athletes, while also conducting research on the experiences of elderly black Olympic athletes.
