Soraya Castro

Dr. Soraya Castro is a Dominican pediatrician and a prominent member of the Immunization Committee of the Dominican Society of Pediatrics. She is also the founder of the Dominican Society of Vaccinology. Recently, she was in the news for her participation in training nursing staff in Panama, focusing on the newly introduced nonavalent vaccine for the human papillomavirus (HPV) during the Week of Vaccination in the Americas.
