Soumitra Sen

Soumitra Sen is a former judge of the Calcutta High Court who made headlines in 2011 when he became the first judge in India to face a removal motion in the Rajya Sabha, which was ultimately passed by a majority. However, he chose to resign before the formal removal process could be completed.
