Spencer Huertas

Spencer Huertas is one of the brothers who went missing while fishing off the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica in late October 2025. His disappearance triggered an extensive investigation by the Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ), revealing connections to a drug trafficking and money laundering organization linked to Edwin López Vega, alias 'Pecho de Rata'. After 11 days, Huertas and his brother were found in Colombia, leading to further scrutiny of their activities and ties to illicit operations in the region.
