Sri Siddhartha Sumangala is a prominent Buddhist monk and the current Maha Nayaka of the Malwathu Chapter in Sri Lanka, celebrated for his contributions to the Sangha and the preservation of Buddhist teachings. He was born on May 30, 1944, in Thibbatuwawe and has held various influential positions within the Buddhist community, including the Maha Nayaka status from 2004. His leadership is marked by efforts to re-establish and sustain the teachings of Buddhism in Sri Lanka.
