SSD is a nurse and a resident of Owo, Nigeria, who was a victim of the horrific attack on St Francis Xavier Catholic Church on June 5, 2022. During the attack, she suffered severe injuries that resulted in the amputation of both her legs above the knee and the loss of her left eye, which has since been replaced with a prosthesis. SSD's testimony during the ongoing terrorism trial highlights the traumatic experience she endured while trying to save herself during the massacre that claimed the lives of 41 churchgoers.
