Stacey Winiata

Stacey Winiata is a courageous Taranaki mother who was diagnosed with HER-2 positive breast cancer shortly after giving birth to twins. Despite a challenging medical journey that included a full mastectomy and chemotherapy, she advocates for breast cancer awareness and the importance of early detection. Having previously overcome leukaemia in her teens, Stacey uses her experience to support others facing similar diagnoses, encouraging them to seek medical attention for any concerning symptoms. She also participates in fundraising efforts for the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ, emphasizing the need for community support.
