Stanley Tun-Li Kwok
Stanley Tun-Li Kwok was a pivotal urban planner and architect in Vancouver, credited with integrating high-density living with livability in the redevelopment of the Expo 86 lands. Born in Shanghai in 1927, he studied architecture in both Shanghai and London before moving to Hong Kong, where he designed over 200 buildings. After relocating to Canada in 1968, he played a crucial role in shaping Vancouver's urban landscape, particularly through his work with Concord Pacific. Mr. Kwok passed away on December 7 at the age of 98.
