Stavroula (Lina) Paschou

Stavroula (Lina) Paschou is an associate professor of Endocrinology at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the head of the Diabetes Center at 'Alexandra' Hospital. She has been actively involved in the management of patients with obesity, particularly in the context of a national program aimed at providing free medication for weight management. Recently, she has been in the news regarding the challenges faced by approximately 46,000 beneficiaries of this program following the cessation of funding, emphasizing the need for continued support to ensure patients can complete their treatment.
