Stefano D’Arrigo

Dr. Stefano D’Arrigo is a child neuropsychiatrist at the Department of Genetic Syndromes with Intellectual Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders at the Mariani Foundation for the Study of Neurodevelopmental Disorders, part of the IRCCS Besta Neurological Institute in Milan. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of rare genetic conditions such as Angelman Syndrome, which is characterized by severe developmental delays and neurological symptoms. Dr. D’Arrigo is actively involved in research aimed at understanding the genetic mechanisms behind these conditions and developing new therapeutic approaches, including gene therapy, to improve the quality of life for affected individuals.
