Stegarul Dac is a 58-year-old protester who gained attention for climbing a tree in front of the Central Police Arrest of Bucharest, where he remained for 24 hours while demanding the release of Bogdan Peșchir, who is under investigation for voter corruption. Known for his unconventional protests, he previously drew attention by scaling a crane. During his tree sit-in, he entertained onlookers by singing children's songs, displaying a mix of determination and whimsy in his activism.
