Stephania Carmona Rojas

Stephania Carmona Rojas was a 20-year-old member of Mexico's Guardia Nacional, originally from Ajalpan, Puebla. Tragically, she was found murdered at the 51st Battalion facilities in Acapulco, Guerrero, just weeks after beginning her service. Her death has raised serious concerns regarding workplace safety and gender-based violence, especially as she reportedly faced harassment within the military establishment prior to her death.
