Stephen O’Callaghan

Stephen O’Callaghan was a 55-year-old man from Cork who tragically lost his life while heroically attempting to save six individuals caught in a dangerous rip current at Inch Beach. His selfless actions saved the lives of two young boys, but he succumbed to drowning. He was remembered as a courageous individual who always stepped in to help others.
