Steve Magaña

Steve Magaña is a journalist and communicator associated with Bálsamo Radio TV, a community radio station in El Salvador. He has been actively involved in defending human rights, particularly in the Cordillera del Bálsamo region. Magaña was recently in the news due to a report by the Asociación de Periodistas de El Salvador (APES) concerning an irregular police raid that resulted in the confiscation of journalistic equipment and raised serious concerns about press freedom and the rights of journalists in the country.
