Steve Mathias

Dr. Steve Mathias is the co-executive director of Foundry, a British Columbia-based initiative that provides comprehensive health and wellness services to young people. Under his leadership, Foundry has become a pioneer in youth mental health care, recently receiving funding from the federal government’s Youth Mental Health Fund to enhance access to essential services for at-risk youth. Dr. Mathias advocates for the importance of creating safe and confidential spaces where young people can seek help for mental health, substance use, and identity issues without feeling isolated.
