Steve Taneyhill

Steve Taneyhill was a celebrated quarterback for the University of South Carolina Gamecocks from 1992 to 1995, known for his lively playing style and iconic mullet hairstyle. He led the Gamecocks to their first-ever bowl victory and set numerous passing records during his college career, including 753 completions and 62 touchdown passes. Despite going undrafted in the NFL, Taneyhill found success as a high school football coach, leading his team to three consecutive state titles. He passed away at the age of 52, leaving behind a legacy as one of South Carolina's football legends.
