Su Yu-Xin

Su Yu-Xin is a Taiwanese landscape artist known for her innovative approach to color and materials, creating her own paints from natural substances such as pearls, crystals, and volcanic dust. A Slade School of Fine Art graduate, she is deeply influenced by her upbringing in Taiwan and her experiences in the American West, where she collects pigments that embody rich histories. Her art, which features luminous landscapes reflecting her travels, is a blend of scientific inquiry and artistic expression, showcasing the interplay of geography, culture, and the natural environment. Su is also making waves in the art world with her first solo museum show in the US at the Orange County Museum of Art, further establishing her unique voice in contemporary landscape painting.
